Lower ratios of 1:4 for our infants and 1:8 for our over two’s was a non-negotiable when starting Growing Wings Bankwood. Through lower ratios and smaller group sizes we promote quality education and care for the tamariki that walk through our doors. It means that kaiako are actively engaged, scaffolding and extending children’s learning through their interests. Kaiako have the time to nurture and love your pēpi while upholding respectful practices in an unhurried, calm environment.
Our quality approach is also followed through to our kaiako where we ensure that they’re surrounded in an empowering environment where they can grow and extend their learning, knowing that they’re supported.
